anton corbijn’s control – looks beautiful but it is empty, vacuous and annoying – it does however provide the immortal line : i think it’s in my fuck off pocket when someone asks the band’s manager where their money is. it sounds like Jon Savage’s documentary Joy Division might be the definitive film on the subject.
